EXTRA! *** *** READ ALL ABOUT IT! *** *** AMAZING STANDING BABY! *** ************************************************** ************************************************** This evening, I was getting Heather ready for bed, and John called from the other room (with great excitement in his voice), "Marie! Come here! You have to see this!" I rushed out, but of course, nothing was happening. Caroline was just standing there, holding onto the dollhouse. "Just wait, maybe she'll do it again," and he coaxed her by holding a doll just above where she was holding on. And she did it -- she let go, and stood there, wobbling, but not holding onto anything! She's not quite ready for the New York City Marathon (maybe she stood for 3 seconds before sitting down), but we were amazed nonetheless. It *almost* made up for the whiny, cranky, crabby, fussy day she had today. (We thought it was teeth coming in, but maybe she was just mad that we didn't realize she knew how to stand. Well, Caroline, you have to *show* us if you want us to be impressed!)
